As a design engineer he is responsible for understanding customer drawings, specifications, and communications to formulate a design strategy that meets the customer’s needs. To accomplish this he is able to read prints, understand design strategies, produce AutoCAD drawings, design PLC systems and network diagrams, and package documentation in an easy-to-read submittal. Joel is also a UL508A Manufacturer Technical Representative. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family, whether it be family hikes, camping, or being part of his daughter’s gymnastics.
